Where to find more OER?

There are many platforms available that contain OER, the platforms listed below are a good starting place to find openly available education resources.

  • Scootle
    Portal to the National Digital Learning Resources Network that contains over 20,000 digital resources that are free for use in all Australian schools. The resources are made available to teachers through State and Territory portals or Scootle. Tertiary academics and pre-service teachers can now access resources through the Scootle portal.  You must register.
  • JSTOR Open Access Books and Journals
    Direct link to teaching and education material in JSTOR.
  • Teaching Commons
    Find OER "from leading colleges and universities" in disciplines including Education from UMass Amherst. The Teaching Commons brings together high-quality open educational resources from leading colleges and universities. Curated by librarians and their institutions, the Teaching Commons includes open access textbooks, course materials, lesson plans, multimedia, and more.
