This page provides key steps to getting started on the Reading List homepage:

• Getting Started as a New User
• Installing the Bookmark Extension

Getting started as a new user

A new user can get started with Reading lists by simply logging in:

1. Go to the Deakin Reading List homepage.
2. Click on Log In in the top bar menu.
3. You will be directed to the Deakin SSO page. Provide your staff username and password.
4. Follow the authentication steps.
5. You will be logged in and redirected back to the Deakin Reading List homepage (You will notice that instead of Log In in the navigation bar your name will be there instead).

Installing the bookmark extension

Having the Bookmark Extension in your web browser means you can quickly bookmark reading list resources from the web.

1. Launch the Deakin Reading List Homepage on your computer.
2. From the Navigation bar, click My Bookmarks. If you're not already logged in, the system will do this now.
3. A prompt to install bookmark extension will appear.
4. Click on "Get the extension".
5. Follow the steps to install the extension onto your web browser.
