Elements regularly checks a variety of online sources to look for your published outputs. If Elements is certain about your identity as an author on a publication, it automatically claims that publication on your behalf. The publication then appears the next time you visit your Elements or Find An Expert profile.
However, often Elements cannot be certain that the author named on a publication is you. In these cases, it will register the publication as pending in your profile.

You need to go into Elements regularly to view your pending publications and either claim or reject them. You can do this by:
The Manage Publications page will list any pending publications. Outputs in the Pending tab need to be reviewed.
You can perform two actions on these pending outputs:
You can either claim or reject each publication individually or select one or more publications via the left-hand checkbox to claim or reject them in batch.
You can claim a rejected publication by finding it on the Rejected tab on the Manage Publications page and clicking Claim.
Elements may incorrectly auto-claim a publication on your behalf. You may also mistakenly claim a publication that is not yours. You can reject a claimed publication on the Claimed tab by selecting the three dots next to a claimed publication and choosing Reject.
