Internal: any data set to Internal is not visible on Find an Expert. Internal data is visible to other Deakin users within Elements

Why isn't my profile appearing in Find an Expert?

All Deakin staff and graduate researchers have an Elements profile. Whether or not the profile appears in Find an Expert is determined by Elements’ privacy settings. When a profile is set to Public it will be visible. When it’s set to Internal it will only be visible to Deakin staff from within Elements.

The table below highlights the default privacy settings depending on your role at Deakin.

Profile type Default privacy setting
Researcher Public
Professional staff Internal
Graduate researchers Public
