Finding statistical reports

Statistical reports draw on statistics from a range of data. They include analysis and recommendations, and are produced by organisations such as government agencies, research institutes, and industry groups.

These reports offer insights into trends and social changes over time, especially where reports are part of longitudinal data collection. They often function as primary sources for policymakers, researchers, and businesses.

Where to find statistical reports

Statistical reports can often be located on government department websites or Clearing Houses. Clearing House websites collate information on particular topics, such as the Clearinghouse for Sport.

Tip

Search engines are useful for locating statistical reports. When using a search engine to find statistical reports, include topic keywords and potential organisations or government departments in the search.
