Misinformation Day
The University of Washington's Center for an Informed Public (CIP) and Washington State University's Edward R Murrow College of Communication host an annual event on the 16th March. The purpose of Misinfo Day is to "...teach high school students, teachers and librarians how to identify and combat online misinformation and disinformation."

2022 Misinfo Day at Deakin
In celebration of Misinformation Day, Luke Heemsbergen from the School of Communication and Creative Arts gave a talk about misinformation and social media. Luke discussed how misinformation originates, why people believe it and form online communities around it, and what might be done about it.
