This checklist will help ensure you receive any waivers or discounts available for Deakin authors when you submit your article.

Checklist

When submitting your article to an journal, ensure you have considered the following:

I have used my Deakin email address in the manuscript submission system. This will ensure any open access Read & Publish agreement is applied correctly or other APC discounts I am eligible for are processed as seamlessly as possible.

When asked for my institution/organisation I have selected “Deakin University”.

I’ve checked the author guidance on the journal website for any additional fees (e.g. page or colour charges) and have a plan to pay for them if my article is accepted.
