Picture book Illustrated book A picture book is a book commonly written for children, with many illustrations and limited words. It can come in hard copy or e-book format.
Big book Large format book, giant book

A big book is a picture book printed in large format, often used for reading in front of a group of children.

Text book Course book A textbook is a book that contains detailed information about a particular subject area, and often aligned to curriculum.
Junior Fiction Juvenile book/novel Junior fiction is a book or story that is written primarily for a younger audience. It is about imaginary characters and events, and not based on real people or facts.
Non Fiction Documentary, factual book

Non fiction is a book or story that is written about real events and facts, rather than stories that have been invented.

Kit Game, puppet, puzzle A kit is a set of objects used in conjunction with each other for a particular purpose or activity.
