Find theses

Where you search for theses depends on where the thesis was submitted and published.

Deakin theses

• Deakin University Research Repository (DRO): Deakin Doctoral and Masters theses are curated and preserved in DRO. To find theses, you will first need to search on a topic.  You can then limit your results to thesis under item type.

Australian theses

• TROVE: Australian content from libraries, museums, archives and other research organisations. Use Advanced Search to search Research & Reports, and limit by the format Thesis.

International theses

• Proquest Dissertations and Theses Global: A collection of full-text dissertations that includes searchable citations to dissertations and theses from 1861 to the present day.
• Open Access Theses and Dissertations: (OATD) Theses from over 1100 colleges, universities, and research institutions around the world.
• Google Scholar: Scholarly literature search engine. Include the keyword ‘thesis’.
• Visit the NDLTD: country or region list for more global theses resources.
