Resources from other libraries

Interlibrary loans

Deakin researchers and students have access to a wide range of books, journal titles, and other resources from a range of universities via the BONUS+ program (Australian Universities) or our Interlibrary Loan service (Australia and worldwide).

If you can't find it at Deakin, you may request items from other libraries to be delivered to you, or suggest titles to purchase for the Library collection.

Borrowing from other libraries

  • If you live near another university you maybe able to borrow material through the CAVAL system
  • If you are enrolled as a Cloud Student and live interstate you may be able to borrow material from a University library near you.

Borrowing theses

Most university libraries do not loan their theses but we can put in a request on your behalf. If a copy has to be made it can take 6-8 weeks, depending on the thesis format. Once you receive the copy, it is yours to keep.
