  • Lumen Learning - Art History
    Online open textbook covering prehistoric to 20th-century art across the world.
     
  • MIT Open Courseware - Music, and Theater Arts
    MIT Open Courseware offers an extensive series of online courses, such as play writing and philosophy in film. Course format generally includes lecture videos, interactive concept quizzes (solution key), problem sets, terms and definitions, suggested topics and links, and exams (with solution key).
     
  • Project Gutenberg
    Offers over 53,000 free eBooks: choose among free epub books, free kindle books, download them or read them online. This page lists highlights selected art books and books about artists, including practical methods and specialties, as well as general works on art and art history, plus visitor guides to art expos, galleries, and museums.
     
  • Scootle
    Portal to the National Digital Learning Resources Network that contains over 20,000 digital resources that are free for use in all Australian schools. The resources are made available to teachers through State and Territory portals or Scootle. Tertiary academics and pre-service teachers can now access resources through the Scootle portal.  You must register.

    Find OER "from leading colleges and universities" in disciplines including Education from UMass Amherst. The Teaching Commons brings together high-quality open educational resources from leading colleges and universities.
