Primary legal material
Primary sources are the actual text of the law, that is, legislation and case law, as created by the parliaments and the courts.
The resources listed under the Case Law and Legislation tabs (click on the down arrow in the Primary legal material tab) are the most relevant for that particular area of law.
Interpreting legal citations
In your research you will come across references or citations that use a variety of styles. How do you interpret these references, and decide whether something is a case report or a journal article?
